Chapter One · Our Story

It all started with a passion for food.

"You eat with your eyes first" — that's the line we built the whole business on. Looking at food we see texture, colour, shape, precision. If it looks good, it tastes good. Right?

Ten years at two of the country's most loved restaurants — The Beetle and Wedge on the Thames, then Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxfordshire — the definition of beautiful both on and off the plate. Fig & Thyme is the box-shaped, table-sized version of that obsession, delivered across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, Berkshire and Bucks.
